We loved exploring Northwood House and had a relaxing day enjoying the beautiful countryside nearby. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. I recommend checking out the local pubs.

Some parts shine, others fall flat
Delicious breakfasts were a highlight, and the attentive hosts. We loved interacting with the horses and ponies before enjoying our meal.
The lack of plug sockets near the bed was frustrating, and a few amenities, like extra coffee-making options, were noticeably absent.

The drive to the hotel is a bit bumpy. I ended up with a torn tyre from navigating a rough track. Parking under a tree led to a sticky mess on my car, which wasn't ideal, and I felt a bit steered away from ordering breakfast upon arrival because it wasn't pre-booked. Adding a coffee machine or cafetiere in the room would have been a nice touch too, since it was noticeably lacking.

It was just a well-suited match for a speedy visit in Ventnor with very good value for money. The family room offered fine views, made our stay enjoyable. Make sure to double-check parking options to avoid any issues with tree sap on your car.

We loved how the hosts arranged a carriage drive for us. it was an awesome way to see the countryside, and Mark's breakfasts were something we looked forward to every morning. Relaxing in the sun loungers while sipping coffee was pure bliss, and the garden area was a great spot to unwind after exploring. The drive to the property was a bit rough, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience at all! 😄
